Who We Are
Ambassadors are dynamic student leaders committed to promoting the Freshman Studies or Multi-Disciplinary Studies programs, as well as the University, to prospective students and their families, current students, alumni, and the surrounding communities.
Become a dynamic student leader and help us promote our programs
Ambassadors create a positive first and lasting impression, thus supporting the reputation of the program and university.
- Participate in Admitted Student Day events in the spring as a student liaison/panelist.
- Share your story for promotional purposes on our website, social media, and in videos.
- Join postcard signing campaigns to boost Freshman Studies or MDS recruitment.
- Serve as a peer advisor on non-academic topics for the program and the university.
- Earn a $300 scholarship for each fall, spring, and summer semester you’re enrolled full-time (summer does not require full-time enrollment).
- Help new students succeed by sharing your experiences.
- Build your resume with leadership and community involvement.
- Enhance your public speaking skills while expanding your network.
- Senior MDS Ambassadors receive a medal to wear at commencement. They are also invited to sit with the platform party and receive special introductions at the Office of General Studies commencement ceremony.
